這部八集劇集由凱瑟琳·喬丹創作，她的創作靈感來自于 14 世紀的故事集《十日談》，由杰姬·科恩的 Tilted Productions 共同制作。科恩與喬丹、導演邁克爾·烏彭達爾、Tilted 的 Blake McCormick 和塔拉·赫曼共同擔任監制。
